Introduction

Infokorea is a magazine that introduces Korea to readers overseas, including teachers, textbook developers and other educators. The magazine offers the latest statistics on South Korea, in general and in the field of education (“A Statistical Understanding of Education in Korea” in the 2011 issue), that can be used as a reference source for textbook writers and editors, as well as supportive reading materials for classroom. In addition, the magazine has articles that focus on Korean culture, society and history. The theme of the 2011 issue was Japan’s Forced Annexation of Korea in 1910, and it had two articles “Japan’s Forced Annexation of Korea in 1910” and “Forgive but Never forget.”
