한국학중앙연구원은 리츠메이칸대학 코리아연구센터와 공동으로 2026년 9월 5일(토)부터 9월 6일(일)까지 리츠메이칸대학 스자쿠 캠퍼스(일본 교토)에서 "제13회 세계한국학대회"를 개최합니다.

이번 세계한국학대회는 “한국학의 지역적 전개와 지구적 연결”을 주제로, 세계 각국의 한국학 연구자들이 한자리에 모여 최신 연구 성과를 발표하고 학문적 성과를 공유하는 국제학술대회입니다. 특히 지역별 한국학 연구의 성과와 경험을 공유하고, 한국학의 국제적 확산과 지속 가능한 협력 방안을 함께 모색하는 뜻깊은 학술 교류의 장이 될 것입니다.

The Academy of Korean Studies (AKS), in collaboration with the Ritsumeikan Center for Korean Studies, is pleased to host the 13th World Congress of Korean Studies at Suzaku Campus of Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan, from September 5 (Saturday) to September 6 (Sunday), 2026.

Under the theme "Bridging Regional Trajectories and Global Connections in Korean Studies," the Congress will bring together scholars of Korean Studies from around the world to present their latest research, exchange academic perspectives, and share scholarly achievements. In particular, the Congress will provide an opportunity to discuss regional developments in Korean Studies, promote international academic exchange, and explore sustainable approaches to the global advancement of Korean Studies.
