ZOOM ID : 912 3272 5370, 본 강연의 줌 링크가 필요하신 분께서는 아래 메일(crosscultural.aks@gmail.com)로 문의 바랍니다. 강연요지 : 한국에서의 그간 여성문학 연구는 남성중심 사회의 여성작가들이 소수자로 억압받고 소외돼 왔으며, 그로 인해 기존의 사회체제에 저항적 이었다는 전제 아래 진행돼 왔다. 이런 가정은 실제의 물적 현실에서 여성들이 발휘한 행위성 및 그 삶의 복합적, 입체적 면모들을 지나치게 단순화한다. 본 강연에서는 그를 비판적으로 상대화하는 동시에, 강연자의 박사학위논문<박완서 작가 연구-대중·민중·여성문학장에서 '주부'의 발화 위치를 중심으로>를 소개하며, 여성문학연구의 새 방법을 모색했던 강연자의 그간 여정을 참석자들과 공유하고자 한다.

Abstract : Female literature studies in Korea have displayed a premise that the female authors stuck in a male-centric society as a minority had been oppressed and marginalized and therefore developed a resistant attitude. This premise is problematic as it over-simplifies the nature of female authors' actions in real life as well as the complicatied, mului-faceted aspects of their lives. In this lecture such premise will be critically relativized, while the lecturer shares her long journey of searching for new methods in female literature studies, with her recent doctoral dissertation, A Study of Park Wansub-The Speaking Position of the 'Housewife' in Popular, Minjung, and Women's Literary Spheres-.
