Zoom ID | 912 3272 5370 본 강연의 줌 링크가 필요하신 분께서는 아래 메일(crosscultural.aks@gmail.com)로 문의 바랍니다. 강연요지: 본 강연에서는 최근 국립중앙박물관에서 공개된 일제강점기 유리건판사진을 중심으로, 도갑사불상군의 양식 및 관련 문헌자료를 분석함으로써 그 제작 시기 및 도상을 추정해 보려 한다. 아울러 2022년 국가지정문화재(보물)로 지정된 목조여래좌상의 양식과 제작 기법 등의 특징을 살펴보고, 1938년 도갑사에서조계사로 옮겨진 배경도 소개하며, 그를 통해 근대 불교계 동향도 살펴보고자 한다.

Title | The Buddhist Statue Collection at the Dogab-samonastery in the early half of the Joseon period, and the Seated Wooden Buddhist statue at the Jogye-samonastery Lecturer| YooDaeho, JogyeOrder of Korean Buddhism Headquarters Date | October 26th (Wed.), 2022, PM 03:30 Venue | MunhyeongBd., Room 220, AKS The Lecture will also be broadcast via ZOOM (ID: 912 3272 5370). Abstract: Using glass plate photos from the Japanese occupation period, recently disclosed by the National Museum of Korea, I will examine the style of the Buddhist Statue Collection at the Dogab-samonastery, as well as related documents, which will hopefully reveal the time of its construction. Also examined in this presentation is the style and production methods of the Seated WoddenBuddhist Statue, which was registered as State-designated Cultural Property in 2022. The reason it was moved from Dogab-sato Jogye-sain 1938, and the overall atmosphere of the modern Buddhist community, will also be discussed.
