제171회 해외한국학 콜로키움(The 171st AKS Fellowship Colloquium) 개최
국제교류처 해외한국학지원실에서는 국내에 체류하며 한국학 관련 연구를 수행하고자 하는 해외 한국학자를 초청하여
연구 지원을 통한 해외 한국학 저변 확대를 도모하고자 매년 한국학중앙연구원 펠로십 프로그램을 운영하고 있습니다.

Korean Labor in the Platform Economy:
Solidarity and Alternatives in the Digital Content Industry

Ahlem Faraoun is a PhD Student in Sociology at Sussex University, UK. Her thesis analyzes the rise of the platform economy and its impact on capitalist restructuring, labor and civil society organizing in South Korea. In this presentation, she will share some preliminary findings from her recent fieldwork on grassroots organizing and activitism in the Korean platform-based digital content industry.
