The Academy of Korean Studies welcomes submission of papers on any field of Korean studies for possible publication in its new English language journal, The Review of Korean Studies.
The paper should be an unpublished original work of the author, and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Book reviews, abstracts of dissertations, reports on academic
events and other relevant issues can also be included.
Manuscripts should be written in clear English, typed double-spaced on A4 paper with a 5cm margin at the left-hand side, and contain up to 40 pages. An abstract of about 100 words, and a brief biography of the author should accompany the manuscript. Three copies of the manuscript, together with a diskette processed on IBM compatible software, should be sent to:

한국정신문화연구원에서는 영문학술지 The Review of Korean Studies 제2호의 원고를 모집합니다. The Review of Korean Studies는 국내외 인문사회과학분야에서 한국에 관심을 갖는 학자들에게 연구결과 발표의 장을 제공함으로써 학문적 교류와 학제간 연구를 보다 원활하게 하여 한국학을 발전시키는 것을 목적으로 하고 있습니다.
이러한 취지에서 1998년 9월에 나온 창간호에 이어 제2호에 수록할 논문을 국내외적으로 공모하오니 많은 참여를 바랍니다. 공모된 논문은 본 학술지에 앞서 다른 학술지나 책 또는 인쇄 매체 등에 수록된 적이 없는 독창적인 것이어야 합니다.
제출된 논문은 국내외의 권위있는 한국학 학자들로 구성된 편집자문위원회(Editorial Board)의 심사를 거쳐 수록 여부를 결정합니다. 본지에는 연구 논문 외에 서평, 학계의 동향보고나 학술발표 리뷰 등도 함께 수록하고 있습니다. 본지에 게재가 결정된 국내학자의 논문, 서평 등에 대해서는 소정의 원고료를 지급합니다.
바람직한 논문의 길이는 A4용지에 한 줄 띄고 타자하여 30-50매 정도입니다. 서평이나 보고, 또는 리뷰는 같은 규격으로 2매~5매입니다. 형식상의 통일을 위해서 The Stylistic Conventions of the Review of Korean Studies를 지켜 주셔야 합니다. 이에 대해서는 편집책임자에게 문의해 주십시오. 제출하실 때는 논문3부와 100자 이내의 요약문 그리고 저자의 간단한 이력사항을 전자우편 또는 디스켓과 함께 다음의 주소로 보내 주십시오.
