Korea in Honduras education
Honduras, situated in the Americas on the Central American Isthmus, spans a territorial area of 112,492㎢. The country is divided politically into 18 departments and has an estimated population of 10,593,798.

- Secondary Education: For students aged 15 to 17 or 18, lasting two to three cycles.

Students in Honduras explore the Republic of Korea through Santillana's textbooks, available in both print and digital formats for elementary, middle, and high schools. They also explore Korea's economy, geography, literature, and other cultural facets through materials, including webtoons.

School Calendar
Honduras' education system features an academic calendar that includes Southern Cycle Schools (public institutions) and Northern Cycle Schools (private bilingual institutions). At Southern Cycle Schools, the academic year begins in February and concludes in November. At Northern Cycle Schools, the academic year starts in August and ends in May. Future Directions for Teaching the Republic of Korea in Honduran Education
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Honduras spearheads educational support projects like the Taekwondo Education Project and the Korean Technical Institute in Honduras.The Taekwondo Education Project, a collaboration between the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Honduras and Mision Internacional de Honduras to assist the Ministry of Education, aims not only to promote Taekwondo but also to enhance technical skill development in the sport across Honduras. It has been implemented through regular classes in 19 public schools. 2,310 students have benefited from the martial arts education so far. This project has helped strengthen discipline and improve focus in the classroom.

Located in San Pedro Sula, the second most significant city and industrial capital of Honduras, the Technical Training Center Honduras Korea offers workshops in a variety of areas, including automobile maintenance, welding, air conditioning, electricity, refrigeration, electronics, metal structures, computer repair, design, and drawing. Workshops in areas such as drawing and computer repair contribute to the development of a skilled workforce for the industry, creating opportunities for quality employment for young people.
