The Jangseogak Archives of the Academy of Korean Studies is pleased to invite participants for the 2021 Jangseogak Hanmun Workshop.

The Jangseogak Archives of the Academy of Korean Studies hosted the Jangseogak Hanmun Workshop since 2016 for graduate students or advanced degree holders of Korean Studies and/or East Asian Studies who must have studied at least one year of classical Chinese or a completed comparable course in Asian Studies. The workshop offered 2 courses depending on their levels, for three-weeks intensive on-campus language course in July to deepen their understanding of Korean Hanmun.

Unfortunately, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Jangseogak Archives of the Academy of Korean Studies decided to offer online classes which helps to improve participants’ knowledge of archives(Korean classic documents) for applicants only. The workshop aims at creating a global knowledge-building community of Korean studies.
